You can walk around all of these places within Pena Palace area. When you prefer to give your legs a break, you have other options like:

• A paid transfer service (which you can choose when buying your ticket), that brings guests from the Park Entrance to the Palace. The service runs every 15 minutes and is wheelchair accessible.
• A free hop-on hop-off transfer service that runs between the Palace and the Chalet of the Countess of Edla. Simply show your entrance ticket and hop on! This vehicle is also wheelchair friendly.

If you buy a Park and Pena Palace ticket, you can visit the Pena Palace, the Pena Park and the Chalet of the Countess of Edla.

If you purchase the Pena Park in Sintra ticket, you can access the Pena Park and the Chalet of the Countess of Edla, but not the Pena Palace.

Pena Palace is wheelchair accessible: there is available a ramp leading up to the Palace entrance (but assistance is necessary to use it, as it is long and steep).

Like we mentioned on a question before, there is also a paid transfer running every 15 min between the park entrance and the palace, which is wheelchair accessible. Visitors with reduced mobility have a discount when booking this transfer.

To move around the Park, two traction devices are available (adaptable to the vast majority of manual wheelchairs) which allow you to take the recommended routes in the Park and outside terraces of Pena Palace, with greater comfort and speed. One unit is available at the main entrance of Pena Park and the other at the Commercial Complex of Pena Palace (it is recommended to use the transfer to reach a point closer to this location).

Unfortunately, the interior of the Palace is not accessible to people with reduced mobility due to the existence of steps along the entire route, as well as narrow corridors that would currently present a safety threat. In Sala dos Veados, a three-dimensional model of the monument is available, which visitors can touch and get to know better the volume and materiality of the building.

The Pena Palace shop, restaurant and cafeteria are accessible to everyone. There is an accessible toilet, and an elevator that connects the different floors.

The Chalet of the Countess of Edla is accessible for visitors on wheelchair on the first floor, but not on the second.

There are wheelchairs available for visitors, as long as these are pre-booked in advance.
